Founders’ Day 2010
This year, Founders’ Day had a very special meaning; it marked the 125th Anniversary of Choueifat School.
On this occasion, the school had a day full of various activities which culminated in a gathering for the 12th graders attended by Mrs. Leila Saad, Mr. Abdel Baki, as well as teachers and faculty members.
The Alumni Association joined in the celebration with its president, H.E. Mr. Fadi Abboud, and members of the board namely, Mrs. Wafa Saab, Mr. Victor Saad, Maitre Majed Fayyad, Maitre Hassan Keshli and Dr. Toufic Eid, as well as many alumni.
H. E. Mr. Abboud was the guest speaker, and then Mrs. Saad and Mr. Abdel Baki gave a brief speech each. The audience enjoyed artistic performances by the school choir and “Dabke” group.
The evening ended with everyone enjoying the rich buffet spread.
